the keyboard let you turn around and move forward.

To get to the menu, click on the life preserver. From the menu

your sound settings and various other options.

When you start the game, you're in your World War II apartment.
Explore the apartment, learn about yourself and your motivations,
and your adventure abord the Titanic will begin.

---- KNOWN PROBLEMS -------------------------------------------

PROBLEMS WITH CRASHING OR FREEZING:

In the support folder there is an alternative version of TI.EXE
that does not use asynchronous i/o and may be more compatible
with your computer. Simply copy this executable into the Titanic
directory on your hard disk, replacing the old copy of TI.EXE.

CONFLICTS WITH THE DIRECTX VERSION:

Some sound cards and video drivers aren't completely compatible
with DirectX. If you installed the DirectX version of Titanic
and are having problems, you should try uninstalling the DirectX
version and reinstalling the standard version, which is more
compatible. See the installation guide for more information.

CONFLICTS WITH SOME SCREEN SAVERS:

If you have a screen saver installed, we recommend you disable
it before playing Titanic. Some screen savers can cause the
screen to be erased and not repainted correctly, and other
screen savers that play sounds can cause Titanic to crash.

ERROR OR LOCKUP WHEN CHANGING CD:

If your computer displays an error message on a blue screen
when it ejects a CD, turn off the "Eject CD when changing
discs" option. You can get to this by choosing "Options" at
  the start of the game.

SETUP CONFLICT WITH PRE-RELEASE VERSION:

If you have a pre-release version of the game, or a very early
version of the Titanic demo, you will need to uninstall the
demo or pre-release before installing Titanic.

DIRECTX REPLACES YOUR DISPLAY DRIVERS:

If DirectX replaced your display drivers and you want them
back, you can restore them by choosing Add/Remove Programs in
the Control Panel, then removing "DirectX Drivers". You
will also need to uninstall Titanic and reinstall using the
standard version. See the installation guide for more
  information.
